This amount is intended to show you the possibilities of point cloud registration in the PinPoint Registration Tool.
1. Import of Point Clouds
- Import Leica BLK360 G1
- Import Leica BLK360 G2
- Import Leica RTC360
- Import E57, PTX, etc.
- Import ReCap, also FARO via ReCap
2. Export Panoramas
To sort the scans into meaningful groups, we export the panorama views of all scans. This eliminates the need to tediously click through the scans.
3. Organize Scans into Groups
Now, create folders for logically related groups. In this example, ground floor and facade.
4. AutoAlign Groups
Now start the auto align function for each group.
5. Verification of Registration
As with all point cloud registration software solutions, we recommend checking the automatic registration.
6. Optimization of Registration
Coarse Registration: Nearby for scans that are approximately close
Fine Registration: Very close is finally applied for a group or all groups. Here, the registration is finalized.
